# Search events

> Easily find the sporting events that interest you most.

## Public event catalog

The Rocky Global home page shows all **upcoming events** published by organizers. You can browse the catalog **without logging in**: you'll only need an account when you decide to register.

## Search tools

At the top of the catalog you'll find:

* **Search events:** text field to search by event name.
* **Location:** dropdown selector to filter by country.
* **Search button:** applies the text + location combination.
* **Sort by:** currently only sorting by *Recent* is available.
* **View:** you can switch between card (grid) view and list view.

## Sidebar filters

In the left-hand **Filters** panel you can narrow the catalog by sport **Categories**. Some of the categories active on the platform include, among others:

## Event detail page

Clicking any event takes you to the **event detail** page. You don't need an account to view it.

The page shows:

* **Cover / banner** of the event.
* **Location** with an interactive map (Google Maps).
* **Event information** › **Basic information**: start and end dates, country, city, address, and registration opening and closing dates.
* **Contact information**: organizer's social media.

  You can share the direct event link with other athletes; it will open the same public view without requiring them to log in.
